... period and start on a new pack. I have been waiting for a period for 2 weeks now. Nothing. No period. How long should I wait for a period on this pill? With the Ortho pills, if I missed 5 days of pills, I would have a period withing 3 days but this is taking forever

Leslye ... the type of pills you are on are different from Ovral ... these are progestin only. It has been my personal experience that this type of pill can stop periods completely. I'd go ahead and start another pack but use additional contraception for two weeks, just to be sure. Plus, no periods were a plus for me... as long as I remembered my daily pill. If there is the slightest chance you could b pregnant, take a PG test before starting the new pack.
