I realize this answer may be a little late - I would not recommend giving the C-Phen DM without it being prescribed by a doctor for the current condition. Use of cough and cold medicines in under 2 years is debatable and currently even their use in under 6 year olds is questioned. Use it only if absolutely necessary and if doctor recommends.
