If you eat lunch at 1pm you must be injecting Byetta at 12pm. If you can delay having dinner by 1 hour i.e. have dinner at 7pm, and inject Byetta at 6pm it'll be great but if you have to have dinner at 6pm I suppose there is no other way but to inject Byetta at 5pm (with a 5 hour gap in between doses).
Please discuss this with your doctor/diabetic nurse as well.
