eastender...... am very confused as when I eat lunch around 1pm I would normally have my evening meal around 6pm but if I inject at 5pm it is only 4 hours since I ate food and am told not to inject after food only before. Can somebody advise me please

If you eat lunch at 1pm you must be injecting Byetta at 12pm. If you can delay having dinner by 1 hour i.e. have dinner at 7pm, and inject Byetta at 6pm it'll be great but if you have to have dinner at 6pm I suppose there is no other way but to inject Byetta at 5pm (with a 5 hour gap in between doses).
Please discuss this with your doctor/diabetic nurse as well.
