allorahda...Bye Bye Chantix! I just swallowed my last Chantix pill. I was one of the lucky ones. I suffered virtually no side effects, other than being EXTREMELY quick to get angry, unless I am going to get slammed with them as I am coming off, but I doubt it. I’ve read that Chantix comes out of your system about a week after your last pill. Anyone have any thoughts or advice as I begin my journey as a med free nonsmoker?

Hello. I just want to say YES! Good for you! You have been very encouraging to me. If nothing else,, thank u for posting this. You're already a success story.I am beginning my journey to quit smoking myself. I realize that if I don't do something different, I will end up smoking the rest of my life. Keep on doing whatever you're doing now. If its worked this far, you can just continue it... don't forget to say a prayer of thanks to God for getting you this far. Marla

My fiancé was as supportive as could be... but he’s not a smoker and somehow sharing things with him was different than sharing with my dad (quit 25 yrs ago) and mom (quit 20 yrs ago started again about 10 yrs ago and re quit about 3 yrs ago) who I knew understood completely. Posting on the boards has been (and will continue to be) therapeutic for me as well. I’m here for you, and anyone else reading this for that matter. Whether you support Obama or not, his slogan is apt... YES WE CAN! ~Beth
