In almost 75% cases of amenorrhea, bromocriptine therapy reinitiates normal ovulatory menstrual cycle. Menses are usually reinstates within 6-8 weeks. Some responds within a few days and others may take up to 8 mos. Talk to your doctor if you have allergic reactions like hives, swelling of the arms and legs, difficulty in breathing and daytime sleepiness. Hope you'll have your period soon.
