It is my understanding that you can stay on Avastin forever if it works and side effects are minimal. I was on a clinical trial for recurrent ovarian CA but my lymph nodes began to grow again so the Avastin wasn't working for me and I was removed from the trial. I also had stomach pains, high BP as side effects, if that's any help to you.
