Botox Injections?

My doctor mentioned something about Botox injections for my hip pain. I have had CONSTANT injections of Cortisone and it has not helped. I am reading that Botox is poisonous and does not work for this type of pain HELP!

I have serious and constant hip pain. I am not sure what nerve this is related to but still waiting to get word from my doctor. So far the radio frequency (frying the nerve) seems to have worked on my back pain but I am not so sure about this Botox injection. I am reading bad things about this for pain.

I have tried all the pain medications including morphine and nothing works on the pain. The only relief I get is from Capsicum patches (over the counter) Which get HOT and I don't notice the pain for a couple of hours. (some relief is better than none). I tried the patches my doctor gave me (Lidoderm and something else but they did not work either). I am now using veterinary rubs but they only last a short time again. Now I am concerned about what will work. I have heard about a pain pump but really don't want to go that far. It would be nice to get a good nights sleep without waking up with pain. Any advise?
