Things I have tried diet, hospitalized with a heparin drip, after changing coumadin dosages with monitoring! and now I'm on both lovenox shots twice a day, 60 mg. and recently increased coumadin by 1 ml. Which puts me at 5 ml daily. I am also a post breast cancer patient of one year. I really need answers, I was never a drug or alcohol user so I don't understand what is happening to me and why? I would appreciate any suggestions, answers! Thank you

What do you mean that your blood levels are still dropping? Do you mean your PT-INR keeps dropping? Since you are a high risk patient and you are not stabilized on Warfarin it was logical for you to be put on Lovenox. You might want to talk to your doctors about switching over to Lovenox completely and discontinue the Warfarin. Then you will not have to worry about getting your PT-INR test every few weeks. You will have maybe 1 or 2 tests a year to ensure that your Lovenox level is where they want.
