If your doctor didn't tell you why he had prescribed bisoprolol then yes you should ask him. There must be a valid reason for this.
Bisoprolol is in a group of drugs called beta-blockers. Beta-blockers affect the heart and circulation (blood flow through arteries and veins).
Bisoprolol is used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure).

Thanks for your reply, the doctor is from CGH is a lady and look very young however, I do not have high blood pressure even i ask her, she also unable to tell me only want me to try on the med... i did a few test TMX, 24 hrs Hoter & 2D Echo but that's nothing's wrong on my heart. In the 24 hrs ECG check she told me there's was 2 time my heart run abit fast hence, I think should be ok... since the 2D Echo show nothing... but I still don't know why she giver me this med? and want me to take it for 3 month... til now i dont dare to take the med... will it be any side effect if i take it without my heart any problem?
