No, it is just a marketing ploy to label it a "womans gentle laxative". A lot of women have constipation at that time of month and this certain med is marketed for that purpose but it can be used by anyone. Bisacodyl is just a stimulant laxative. It is marketed, same drug, in other bottles/boxes for use in both sexes but it is still the same medicine. Correctol is the Brand name of the so called "womans" laxative and Dulcolax is the one marketed for both sexes-they are exactly the same drug. buy which ever one is least expensive.
