Hey Sarah-jane,
Drinking alcohol on top of lithium and venlafaxine is not a good idea as you have discovered. The alcohol will increase the side effects of the meds and is a depressant which will only make your symptoms worse. I suspect you have a hangover too. Try to drink plenty of water and it will pass by the end of the day.
