Bipolar Disorder - Ok so can I have a basic opinion of abilify itself and adding it to limicatl &?

I use to take Abilify with Lamictal and was well regulated. Eventually the doctor took me off the Lamictal as he believed the Abilify was enough. I have continued on it for many years with excellent results. I also take an atidepressant for the bipolar II symptoms because I suffer more from depression than mania. None the less, I really recommend you give the Abilify a try.

I felt just like you. I swear. Exactly the same way. What the heck is the matter with me. Am I abnormal? Whats up? I finally found a drug that has helped for me. It's called Saphris. I can only afford it by getting a savings card from my doctor, but it has been the only one that has seemed to really really help my bipolar. I used to be ashamed to talk about my bipolar. Ahh not anymore. We all got problems. Some worse than others, but we all got them. I don't know if this medication would help you or not, but you could at least talk to your doctor about it, and it is supposedly not supposed to cause as much weight gain like the others do either. Don't know if that is a concern to you, but it was for me. I hope I have helped anyway a little. Don't give up KBuggs. There's hope around the corner. Ruth

Abilify did good for my depression and suicidal thoughts, didn't do much with my mood swings. I had to stop taking abilify because it was making me extremely fatigued (and i should know what fatigue is, I have fibromyalgia; however with abilify, it was hard to even breathe that's how tired i was!) and blurry vision with some weight gain. Im scared for the lamictal, since ive been sensitive to other stuff, im not sure il do well with it in my case. but most reviews have been good for lamictal so IDK...
