I think staying on a healthy diet helps with maintaining your general health, not just your MS. I've seen nothing that says a vegan/vegetarian diet helps with the maintenance of MS. However I have seen that a well balanced diet, drinking lots of water, and exercising does help with MS. Basically since we have no "real" control over the progression of our condition, we have to take control of keeping the rest of our body healthy.
