My husband has been having trouble sleeping, and other depression symptoms. Dr. prescribed Zoloft 25mg. When would it be the best time to take it.

Almost every time a med like this is prescribed, the prescribing physician usually includes when to take it along with how much to take. I would have you contact the prescribing physician for this and other dosing information to be sure the medication is taken in such a way as to not cause you undue harm or worse. I think it depends on the person if it makes him sleepy take it before bed. If it keeps him up or has no effect take it in the morning w a light breakfast so you don't get sick to your stomach then try to take it at the same time everyday. I get a little restless with mine that's why I take early morning.
