I take Requip for rls, 2 + yrs. Just prescribed neurotin for post op back pain. cannot take the neurotin at bedtime because of the Requip. I take the neurotin at breakfast, helps my back and leg pain. I was so surprised to read that it helps RLS. I have it so bad. Could I stop the Requip???
Best time to take neurotin?

That is certainly a question you could ask your doctor. The gabapentin (neurontin) is specifically for pain, but it does have unlabeled uses... even helping with bipolar disorder and RLS and neuropathy. The Requip is specifically for the RLS. Your doctor would be the best person to let you know if it would be okay to use the one over the other, however. Hope this helps; good luck!
