Because I tend to get side affects, I would like to cut Treximet in half to try it. Is that ok?

No! You shouldn't cut it in half. Treximet is a combination drug (it combines naproxen and sumatriptan) for migraine relief, and it has a regulated dosage of each drug. It will not work correctly unless you swallow it whole without crushing or breaking it.
