While studies are generally not done on males, there is no evidence that Atacand will affect your ability to become pregnant and no evidence that it would effect the fetus since you are the one taking the medication not her. The following is in the literature:

Fertility and reproductive performance were not affected in studies with male and female rats given oral doses of up to 300 mg/kg/day (83 times the maximum daily human dose of 32 mg on a body surface area basis).

There is considerable evidence for the effects of Atacand on the fetus if taken by the woman during gestation. But in your case, this is not a worry.
Men make sperm regularly and therefore the drug has less chance of causing genotoxic effect.

It is always best to discuss these concerns with the prescribing doctor.
