... gas. I took the pump xopenex hfa because I wasn't sure and now I have anxiety, hands shaking, mouth dry so it feels like I still can't breathe. I was just diagnosed last year because my allergist heard slight wheezing in my chest after I walked behind a few people who were smoking. Since i used that inhaler machine with the spritz medication it burned my throat and since then my throat has been extremely sensitive. I think I want to get a second opinion

Actually sounds like an allergic reaction to smoke and I would get a second opinion to see if you actually do have asthma because using the inhaler or nebulizer can cause nervous feeling that can last a few minutes, that is normal but should help with your breathing fairly quickly.
