Now that I have completed two weeks of Vimovo therapy for my Patella Tendonitis, can I take on an as needed basis?

VIMOVO should be used at the lowest dose and for the shortest amount of time as directed by your Dr.- This mainly because of the possible side effects which you may or may not experience.-
I suggest you talk to your Dr. to see how much longer you need to take it.-
I am not a Dr. I wish I could do more.-

Thanks Maso, have tolerated the Vimovo very well, the Tendonitis is not 100% but is better, thought perhaps I could use it on days when the tendon is sore after a hard workout, perhaps it is slow acting unlike OTC Advil, etc?
Just called Doc and he wants me to stay on all this week, said nothing about as needed.
