Aricept - How long has Donepezil been available to people in the United States/?

My drug ins tells me I have to pay for Aricept because the Donepezil is not avail now although my doctor wrote a prescription for it back in April... Edna

Aricept (donepezil) has been available since November 25, 1996 and according to FDA records it is still available.
