Hi, I think that you might give a try with the list of supplements below for Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease

Nutritional Supplements
NAC (for bronchitis)
Creatine Monohydrate
L-carnitine
Ivy leaf
Coenzyme Q10
Evening primrose oil
Fish oil (EPA/DHA)
Magnesium
Vitamin C
Anise
Elecampane
Eucalyptus
Gumweed
Lobelia
Mullein
Wild cherry

Now: Over-the-counter cough suppressants usually help little and are not recommended. For people with a severe alpha1-antitrypsin deficiency, the missing protein can be replaced. The treatment, which requires weekly intravenous infusions of the protein, is expensive.
