I recently lost my job (and insurance). I have been taking Janumet 50/500 for about a year now and have had very good success keeping my glucose level in check. Prior to this I took Januvia without good control. I exercise relatively intensely on a regular schedule and follow a pretty steady diet as well. Now that I have no insurance and no significant income the cost of the Jnaumet is very expensive for me. I am pretty worried that my diabetes will spiral out of control. Are the any programs out there by the Mercx or anybody else to offset a portion of the cost for low income people. Unfortunately medicaid and other government assistance programs do not exist for me since I am a male.
Are there any low cost programs or assitance for Janumet?

Yes, Merck has a program for you. Go to this web page and I am sure that they can do something as they say no one should go without their drugs.

It would be best to ask your doctor or pharmacist. They should know.
Or contact Merck & Co.
The link above has links for Patient Assistance Programs.
Hope you do manage to get some assistance. Good Luck.
