I currently take Zoloft and am trying to find a cold medicine that doesn't have an interaction with it. My husband just bought me some Tylenol Cold Multi-Symptom; good thing I read the back first... there's a major drug interaction between the two. :(
Are there any cold medicines that I can take with Zoloft?

You do need to check with your pharmacist before purchasing any over the counter cold medicines. You must avoid aspirin, NSAID's and drugs that affect the central nervous system. Also avoid cough suppressants such as dextromethorphan and codeine .
You are best to talk with your pharmacist. They will be able to select a medicine that is safe and effective, depending on your symptoms.
