Are lorazepam 1 mg comparable to diazepam and if so what mg?

Hello rkmorris. I would venture to say, and this is a guess on my behalf, that they are equal in thier strength form, but that the lorzepam is a fast or short acting drug, leaving your body quickly whereas the diazepam (valium) is a long lasting drug, that will remain in your body much longer.
