um, in a way. Valium is a benzodiazepine (anti anxiety, anti epileptic, muscle relaxer, etc) but has been found to have anti depressant qualities some how. as for lexapro, this is an antidepressant (ssri if im not mistaken) which is often used for anxiety and depression.
