Seldane was removed from the market in 1998 due to very severe side effects of QT-prolongation that could causes deadly heart arrythmias. The alternative is Allegra (fexofenadine). They now make a drug that just has the good benefits with out the deadly side effects. It is allegra (fexofenadine).
