If I'm not mistaken, it is illegal to not have some sort of marking on the medication, thus allowing people to identify the med as well as the strength. This includes otc and prescription, so... either it's illegal drugs, or it's a supplement. I would assume the second out of the two. Now... as far as what supplement it is, I wouldn't have the faintest idea as to how and or where to find that info out, sorry. Hope that this is of some help!

I found 3 capsules in my sons room with no writing on them they are clear capsules with white powder inside... anyone have a clue what they could be ?

Inside, powder is rather grainy and looks/smells like a tea of some kind.
