joanna55Hi, I have been taking venlafaxine 225mg for a number of years, really hate the side effects and decided to try sertraline. Just started sertraline 50mg after tapering down to 75mg venlafaxine ( vile withdrawal symptoms ) I feel really wierd. Has anyone else changed sert from venlafax ?

Hi,
At one time or another, I have been on every anti-depressant except atypical anti-psychotics or MAO Inhibitors. Seemed like I was on a different drug every two months. I never had any adverse effects except the meds didn't work. The Serzone made me see a haze around everything including trees and cars when I drove. Funky. So it didn't matter which drug I took, never got sick, just manic.
That's my story, been on psych meds 43 years... fun stuff.
