Anyone using chorhexidine gluconate 0.12% oral rinse had loss of taste for over month?

This from the FDA Chlorhexidine monograph http://www.drugs.com/pro/periogard.html
"Some patients may experience an alteration in taste perception while undergoing treatment with a chlorhexidine gluconate oral rinse. Rare instances of permanent taste alteration following chlorhexidine gluconate oral rinse use have been reported via postmarketing surveillance. "
I would see your dentist or Oral surgeon.

I read this also and reported my problem to periodontist; he claimed befuddlement "never seen this before". This is why I'm asking for reports from others' first-hand who might have suffered same reaction I did
