My father, 84, has been taking Temazepam for some time now and has suddenly become weaker and I'm wondering if there might be some connection

Hello lucycat. Very likely that Temazepam is causing his weakness. I suggest you let his doctor know as to what you mentioned. These type of drugs on the elderly can work much more powerfully than say people much younger in age. He might possibly need an adjustment, lowering in his dose or that the drug be discontinued all together. I hope it works out well for him. Best of wishes, pledge
