wannabeha...I was taking Lexapro with the addition of Ambilify and it just isn't working anymore... Has anyone switched to something else that worked better? I just have a lack of interest, unhappy, and not sleeping more than a couple of hours at a time at night... Your thoughts?
Anyone have problems with Lexapro not working for them anymore?

Hello wannabehappy. I stopped taking lexapro, in as much as it was leaving me fatiqued. You just might need an adjustment to your dose, sometimes thats all thats needed to make it once more work as it did. From there I went onto celexa, and yup, same thing. Fatique. Currently on Paxil, and tukkered out but will stay with this for now. Best of wishes to you,pledge

I was on celexa for 3 years and it just started not to work. My doc said that my body could just be too "used" to it. I tried increasing the dose with no results. I then switched to Pristiq. Unfortunately my body CRASHED with the switch and I am now on Paxil. Its ok... I do feel alot better but still not perfect (if there is such a thing:) I am tired quite a bit but I'm afraid to switch again... hoping the fatigue will fade over time. Good luck to you!

Anxdep: Thanks for the note.. Sounds like I am going to have to try something new... I just hate the thought of some of the bad side effects I could get..but guess it is time to be brave and just do it. I am seeing a new dr. so hopefully he has some good insight to what I need. I just can't work and have the fatigue or tiredness that comes along with some of these meds. I wish you great luck with the Paxil... hopefully the tiredness will fade... if not, try, try again! wannabe happy

Nena: Thanks for the note... I am going to a new doc.. only bad news is that his first appt for new patients isn't for three weeks! I have tried Effexor and Seroquel... neither worked well for me. Effexor made me emotionless and Seroquel too tired the next day. So we shall see... Glad to hear that you feel better on Effexor.. 50% better is better than nothing... wannabehappy

Thanks so much for the response... there has just got to be something out there for us that doesn't cause fatigue... that was part of my problem with it too...
