Yes, severe dizziness, headache, brain throbs ( sort of feels like a shot of electricity goes through your brain) and loss of stamina. It is very uncomfortable and the makers of the product should have to post these side effects in their information but they don't.

Yes, you will have some withdrawal symptoms but they should subside in time. if they get to unbearable talk to your dactor. What are you switching too? I ask because i am also on effexor and want to switch as well? It works great for depression but i dont feel normal. Im always thinking its like my mind doesnt stop.
I have been slowly increasing to Zoloft dose of 50 mg. I can't make heads or tails of how I'm doing on this yet because I feel so rough coming off Effexor. At 150 mg of effexor I was getting panic attacks. Can't wait to get it out of my system. When you're reading reviews of different drugs, remember that they can affect people differently. Some may hate Zoloft but I've only been on it for 2 weeks.

Did the symptoms improve with each day you were off?
Yes they do, but it is a very slow painful process. Sometimes you ask yourself if it is worth it, then other times you fight back and say you're going to beat it.
Good luck You can beat it.
Thanks for responding. Determined to fight through it!
Same. Dizziness and brain zaps. Took a few weeks but it did get better. I also felt quite faint a few times so do remember to eat even if you have no appetite. Some docs give you something to help come off these 'strong' meds. When I came off ,Cymbalta I was given PRozac on a tapering system over three weeks and it helped quite a bit.
With perseverance you can get through it. Be easy on yourself and ask for help if you need it. All the best! It can be done. Xxx
