4 mg. and then 8 mg. and only have taken for 3 weeks. Not noticing much help with the bladder problem, but just began having racing heart at times during day and feeling 'awful' and a dry cough that just doesn't go away, especially at night.
Any side effects from Toviaz and did it help with problem?

The constipation is continuing even after few days off the drug. The dry mouth still is there but better and my tachycardia has reduced to 'rare' from daily--- at least 2 to 3 times a day. So, unsure if it was the med. or not. Also, my feet began to swell. Thanks for your reply
As u experienced the side effects after 3 weeks of taking the med, they may probably be due to med only.
Rest u may know better as some people are chronic constipators.
These side effects are also specific of this medication.
U may be having overactive bladder or bladder spams, i suppose.
U can try other drugs like oxybutinin, darifinecin. Even injection of botulinum toxin directly into bladder can relax the bladder.
Antidepressants like imipramine can also help
Please ask ur doctor about ur side effects if they don't go away quickly now.
And take enough fibre in diet to avoid constipation.
