The question was... I take prescription only 25 mg meclizine 4 x daily for meniere's disease. My insurance company no longer covers this specific drug. However they will cover Antivert. I can't take otc meclizine as I have reaction to the fillers. And I can't use the chewable form as they contain artificial sweeteners that trigger my migraines. What are the chances that antivert has the same fillers? I absolutely NEED the meclizine, it keeps me upright. LOL!
And I don't know what happened to the body of my original question. Gremlins, I guess. Thanks!
Have you tried the Antivert brand of meclizine?
I can't say for sure that all the fillers in the different brand of generics will be the same. It is best to try it and it may work without any problems for you.
