Has anyone switched from androgel to fortesta? Did fortesta help when androgel wasn't quite doing the trick?

I have made the switch. Androgel was actually working for me but I did not like applying such a large quantity of the gel every day. With Fortesta, the quantity of gel is less than half and it is working quite well. My last levels of testosterone were right in the median.

I was on the 5gm solution of Androgel and it really did nothing for me. I was told to keep applying it and wait for results. They never came with androgel, plus the stuff is slimy and the application site was just not practical for me (I have small children that like to stick their hands under daddy's shirt). The docs switched me to injections, started on 100mg of Depo every 2 weeks, very poor! Then they increased it to 200mg every 2 weeks, better, but not great. Then they switched me to Fortesta 40mg every day. Wow, this stuff is great! The only problem that I had with it was application site. I was getting pretty significant irritation on the inner thighs, but I switched application sites to the anterior and lateral aspects of my thighs without irritation. My last T levels were at Total: 1139 Free: 348. Energy & libido are outstanding!! I have wrote to the company asking why the inner vs. the outer thighs; I am awaiting the reply. I don't advocate deviating from site application guidelines; check with a GOOD doctor before making any adjustments.
