an oval blue pill with G17 on one side

please some one help me identify what this is, the explaination I got was that it would prevent a hangover, does anyone know if this is true?

This pill is a generic version of Aleve
Each pill contains Naproxen Sodium 220 mg
Imprint Code G 17
Description blue, oval tablet

on one side only it has g17 its elliptical in shape and blue ( light blue) in color
