How long after one dose should I wait before taking the second one. Knowing the pat answer would be 12 hours, sometimes that isn't very convenient. Would be be harmful to take the second dose 8 or 10 hours after the first?

Repeating the dose also depends upon the absorption & elimination of the active ingredient from the system, amoxicillin half - life is around 61.3 minutes & would remain in the body for about 5.5 times the half life, so taking the second dose after 8 to 10 hours would be ok.
