Ive been given Amoxicillin for treating a chest infection and maybe a UTI and ive not found anything that states that i cannot smoke whilst taking this medicine but i would like to double check in case i am wrong.
Can you smoke whilst taking Amoxicillin 250mg capsules?

If you have a chest infection you should not be smoking! Smoking delays healing of any kind so it is best not to smoke while trying to heal. Smoking will not interact with the amoxicillin chemically but smoking is not a good idea when you are trying to heal. It will delay your getting better and could even prevent you from getting healed form a chest infection involving lungs, bronchioles or any part of the respiratory system.
