I used as directed for about 4 mos on my arms, it helped the itching but had to stop using it as my arms were getting redder an discolored. It's been over a year since I've used it, I have very thin skin, if I hit any part on top of arms I get blood blisters, bruising, or very bad cuts, tearing the skin. Could this be a permanent damage to my arms? I've been to 2 dermatologist, MD an burn unit. I was told its ammonium lactate burns. I have had blood work checking all functions of my organs. Do you have any other info you could possibly share with me? Ty.

I don't know about ammonium lactate burns, but I do know what helps when skin is like that. They make sleeves specifically for protection of skin on the arms, or you can use a clean tube sock, cut out the toes for your fingers and a hole for the thumb. The major thing you can do is be sure you get protein every day, take vit C and Zinc daily. Did the doc from the burn unit recommend anything?

The burn unnit had no idea what it was caused from. My dermotologist thinks it may be from using steroid medication on my arms for my itching. I recently went to an ENT Dr. in which I have a fungle sist up in my nose by my eye, I'm thinking which is still considered my sinus. I am highly allergic to molds an this may possible be the cause of my itching, as I only itch on my arms.I'm having my sinus balloned an the sist removed Oct 11th. No one seems to be concrened about the thin, blood blistered when scrapped or cut, turning to nasty looking bruises. My arms look pathetic, I've had this for over a year an a half, I just want to heal. thank you for your time..Lynn
You just gave me a huge hint mentioning you used cortisone on your arms. This is probably the reaction to that. Cortisone over time causes the skin to become very fragile. Also the blood vessels under it. That is the reason for the bruising and the tears. If you follow the dietary things I gave you, you will notice a difference.
