I am prescribed to take 2 24mg a day and I take them at night that works for me, with results every morning! but my question is I take prescribed pain pills is there a way that this medicine flush my pain pain pills out everyday? Every morning when I go its no strain just like urinating, it's like water and I feel great! before amitiza I couldn't go for weeks at a time and when I did it was terrible constipation and stamach pains! But is it possible for this medicine to be flushing my system out?
Amitiza - could this also flush out my pain pills?

Hi, Goneblacky...
I was placed on Amitiza for a short while. It never seemed to interfere with my pain meds when I took them. If you search the drug encyclopedia on here, you can find a great deal about the drug. I checked before answering you, and I didnt find anything regarding taking any other meds. However, if it causes you concern, check with your pharmicist or doctor to get the most accurate verification. Im not a medical professional, Im only speaking from personal experience. Have a great day!

http://www.drugs.com/amitiza.html This should answer your questions,, and tell you more about amitiza. Just because your bowels are fluid does not mean that you haven't absorbed your pain meds in your liver by then.
