Ambien on an overnight plane flight?

I've got an overnight flight coming up and I'd really like to get some sleep.
I normally take Ambien about twice a week taking only 5mg, and it does the job.
However, in the past I've taken as much as 10mg of Ambien on a plane and I still barely sleep at all. I think not being horizontal is my biggest issue.
My question: could I take more Ambien to get me to sleep or is there some other drug or am I playing with fire, and should instead just live without sleeping on the plane?
Thanks,
Eric

Hello ericfree. Certainly. you can increase it to 15 or 20mg. Remember no alcohol and just let the flight attendant know, you've taken a sleeping pill, and that he/she give you a wake up call. Enjoy the flight.best to you.
