Am on my 2nd day of taking Librium for Opiate (percocet) withdrawal is this going to work? Going?

The librium will help you sleep, which for a lot of people is the worst part, but for the most part, it's going to suck. Can you go back to him and ask him something for nausea? I find that helps a lot because when I have gone through withdrawals I get really sick to my stomach. Have you looked up Thomas' Recipe? It is an herbal combonation along with suggesting you get something like librium, xanax, clonzepam to help with being on edge and the muscle cramping and sleep. A lot of people swear by hot baths during the detox period too. You could put some Epsom salt in the bath to help pull the toxins out of your body and help your aches and pains during the process too. Other than that, try to keep eating, take your librium - probably on the heavier side of what was prescribed - buy some immodium for the runs - take epsom salt baths - and look up Thomas' recipe on line and try and follow that on top of it all.

And if you can afford/want to go back to the doctor, then get something for nausea. I would take this and get through it and you will be much happier in the end that you are not chained to a pill bottle like a lot of us on here. If you are still in pain, then I would switch doctors and have that investigated. But if you have just become dependent on them then this is probably the best thing for you dear.
