Depending on what your taking Cymbalta for, if it's for anxiety and or depression, I'd say give Pristiq a go. If it's for pain, then I wouldn't suggest that one. I've had allot of luck with Pristiq for a number of years, however, needed a higher dosage than what Pristiq is good for, in addition to a need for a pain killer - so I made a switch to Cymbalta, and the two feel almost identical, except Pristiq is a little less sedating than Cymbalta (although many find Cymbalta to be energizing). If you're on a dosage of over 60mg, then I'm not sure if you could make the switch. In that case my be would be Effexor XR. But... I'm not a doctor, and really couldn't tell you for sure, especially without the mg and reason for the meds. Regardless, good luck and I hope that I've been of some help!
