Caverject is very expensive and my insurance does not cover it. Is Prostaglandan E1 the same drug and can I get that from a Compound Pharmacy in place of the Caverject?

The active ingredient in MUSE is alprostadil, a chemically identical version of the naturally occurring prostaglandin E1 (PGE1) found in semen.
So yes, the active ingredient alprostadil is the same as PGE1.
Is there a cheaper market for these products? They are expensive.
