Alprazolam - you successful Xanax users, we have to know what dose you take?

Ive been taking Xanax for over 4yrs, I take it daily but try as best I can to use it as needed. I am diagnosed with with a fairly severe social anxiety disorder, Ive been precribed as much as 6mgs per day but currently take 1-3mgs daily depending on symptoms, but always atleast 1mg. Just recently I just started taking Buspar as well, which has helped my anxiety, and Im about to switch to Paxil from Prozac since Paxil has more anxiety benefits to offer. Now Im an opiate addict, currently on Suboxone for the second time, but for what ever reason I do not abuse any benzo's purely because I dont get any euphoric feeling if I take more, only tiredness and the main reason I like opiates was for the energy they provided me. To anyone who would question the combo of sub and xanax or other benzo's, I agree that there can be an issue with someone who would get on sub and start taking a benzo when they arent tolerant to the effects of benzo's.

Im new to this forum, I used to be very active on some other forums but any questions would be welcomed and I will always try to provide my best advice/opinion but never a definitive medical answer, which should always be left to your prescribing doctor, or medical professional for those out there that are taking any medicine without a prescription to do so.
