... hour before or 4-6 hours after this medication. My routine is to take all my meds and vitamins at once after I eat my first meal of the day. I then take a scoop of prevalite with a scoop of psyllium seed husk (same stuff that's in metamucil) in a large glass of water. I then take the previlite and psyllium after other meals. Now I find out I shouldn't take medications with this stuff. Any idea what's so bad about it?

Just from skiming thru the side effects it would appear to me that the agents in this medication could cause your other medication & vitamins to bind to it & pass right thru your system. It does say to take meds 1 hour before or 4 to 6 hours after taking prevalite. Hope this helps...
