are swollen. What do I do? I have tried several shots and they all make me very sick... besides Copaxone which I was allergic too. I cannot stand the shots anymore because they are too painful and it kills me to inject myself with something I know is going to make me sick. Any advice would be good. because it is a new drug even the doctors who perscribe it dont know and that scares me.

Have you talked with your doctor?
Are you sure the rash was from the Gilenya - maybe your dosage could be reduced?
Shortness of breath, eye pain and itchy skin rashes have all been reported with Gilenya.

ANY trouble with your eyes should be reported IMMEDIATELY! There have been reported cases of people going permanently blind from Gilenya, due to increased pressure. I don't wish to deter anyone from taking this drug (I'm preparing to go on it myself) these cases are supposedly rare, and most of them resolve after discontinuing the medication but people should be aware that they do exist and some people had their sight permanently impaired.
