I have been taking adipex for about 2 years off and on. My start weight was 198 I am down to 179 but I've been stuck at this weight for a long time. Why?

Hello cclem. Adipex-p (phentermine) is meant to be taken for a short period of time. Three weeks is the norm. The longer one is taking the drug, that persons body builds up a tolerance to it. In your case your body has just done that, built up an immunity to the Adipex. However I am not a doctor, so you might ask your doctor or pharmacist to confirm, or get thier opinion. Regards, pledge
