Addiction - Does every addict have a rock bottom? I'm afraid my husband bottom is death itself?

Hi there,
What is your husband addicted to?? I dont mean to sound blunt but if he's already lost his job and your house and you then he is near enough to rock bottom.Not actually meaning death,but he cant lose much else!!
The only advice i can give you is that he needs to want to quit himself,I know and understand you are in such a difficult situation right now and I feel for you,it must be horrible for you at the moment,but there is nothing much you can do until he is willing to want to quit and get help for himself.

He's tried everything. Crystal meth was his favorite. Then it became hard to get. He went on a benge with bath salts. That costs us everything. He stayed clean for about six months. Now he is on new stuff. Not sure what this time. We just recently got back together. He waited till I started trusting him again and same sh-- different day. I thought the last time was his bottom. I don't know what to do anymore. Being supportive, leaving him, screaming at him , talking to him nothing works. It got worse when I left and he almost died. I can't leave again. He over dosed on heroin when he was 18. I can't get it through his head he's not just killing himself. It feels like he takes a limitless life from me everyday. I'm so worried I'm going to find him dead.
