Is this what i need to soak foot in to help the athlete foot. The top of my foot around that toe is red. Will the alum acetate help cure? Is domeboro the only otc help?

Hard to know how to treat without seeing it. Domeboro is an anti-bacterial and astringent solution but is not used so much now as has been replaced by more effective medicines.
I would suggest go to your pharmacy and speak to the Pharmacist. If they decide it is Athletes foot there is a huge range of anti-fungal creams, powders and lotions you can try. The Pharmacist will be able to recommend something suitable.
